Based on my peer reviews from Keveren Guillou Photography and Eric’s Movie Blog, both have mentioned that I should start to use more visuals, especially the topic that I am using. Also, Keveren has mentioned linking my Instagram, so the reader can link the content to my work, like a portfolio. Also, Eric mentions that I should use banners for every post, so the reader can identify what I am talking about.
The changes that I have made, include hiding Posiel posts that are only accessible by clinking into the menu on the top. Also, I have posts that incorporate visuals with text, like a tutorial. I still work to do with the other posts, but I am unsure about what kind of images are appropriated beside the featured image/banner. Overall, the critique is about the visuals, they weren’t enough on my website, despite that my topic relies strongly on visuals.
Also, in the future, I am planning to incorporate a new section called storytime or storytelling, where I am intending to create a space where I can communicate with my audience in a different way, as the intention of this blog was, to tell the truth, and my experience within this field. There is a lot of misinformation on media, and as Alice Marwick and Rebecca Lewis have mentioned in Media Manipulation and Disinformation Online and unfortunately, no one is doing anything about it, and users do not know where to get a site that tells the truth, so I decided to do so. Writing about a topic that should be a public concern and I want to bring attention that not all the Influencers have the absolute truth.
